Attali'ah Newspaper, Issue 848, June 15 1994
The eight hundred and forty-eighth issue of Attali'ah Newspaper which was published on June 22, 1994. Bashir al-Barghuthy is the issueʾs editor-in-chief, and it was printed in Salah ad-Din Press in al-Quds (Jerusalem). The 20-page issue covers the following: 1. Criticism levelled at the National Authority for how they handled the issue of Palestinian prisoners. 2. The spokesperson of Al-Haq Organisation refutes a statement issued by the Israeli Occupation Army denying allegations of torturing Palestinian prisoners. 3. An American organization: Israel is still torturing Palestinian prisoners even after signing the Jericho-Gaza agreement. 4. An expert from the United Nations will arrive in the Occupied Palestinian Territory to oversee the right to shelter campaign. 5. Six Palestinian families demand the return of the remains of their sons. 6. Ghassan Khatib writes about the Cairo agreement. 7. The screening of the film The Final Game by the Palestinian director Suʾud Mhanna. 8. Issam Arouri writes about turning Jericho into Marj al-Zuhour part 2. 9. A political symposium for the leaders of the Palestinian Peopleʾs Party in Gaza. 10. The residents of upland areas in Nablus suffer from water shortages and the municipality promises that the issue will be solved soon. 11.
