The eight hundred and forty-ninth issue of Attali'ah Newspaper which was published on June 29, 1994. Bashir al-Barghuthy is the issueʾs editor-in-chief, and it was printed in Salah ad-Din Press in al-Quds (Jerusalem). The 20-page issue covers the following: 1. Trade and economic stagnation plague the Gaza Strip. 12. Jenin suffers drought due to the water shortage. 13. Robbers steal a television and a car in al-Bireh. 14. Rumors of a fatwa prohibiting strolling and enjoying the sea in Gaza. 15. Nuseirat Refugee Camp begins to resolve the issue of sewage. 16. Prisoners at Al-Far'a Prison face mental pressures and torture. 17. Young women face life and join vocational training courses. 18. Rosary Sisters' High School celebrate the graduation of the 18th cohort. 19. The General Director of Transportations in the Gaza Strip clarifies that the issue of fixing cars has been resolved as soon as permits to enter the 1948 Occupied Territory were obtained. 20. The director of the Women's Centre for Legal Aid and Counselling, Maha Abu Dayya: “Improving the status of women entails improving the conditions of Palestinian society”. 21. A meeting at Princess Alia Governmental Hospital to discuss ways to improve medical services. 22. A symposium in Bethlehem on democracy and human rights. 23. The opening of the fourth Jifna festival organized by the villageʾs club.
