Issue zero of Attali'ah Newspaper which was published on September 7, 1994. Bashir al-Barghuthy is the issueʾs editor-in-chief, and it was printed in Salah ad-Din Press in al-Quds (Jerusalem). The 8-page issue covers the following: 1. A new wave of settlement activities in one of the neighbourhoods of East Jerusalem. 2. August 20th is declared as a day to fight against Israeli settlement. 3. The Water and Land Establishment calls for popular struggle to retrieve confiscated lands. 4. A public and official meeting in the Gaza Strip between the leadership of the General Federation of Trade Unions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip and the leadership of the Histadrut. 5. An article entitled “A Letter from Gaza… Contrary to the Cairo Agreement: We Demand the Elections of the Legislative Council”. 6. An article entitled “Hebronʾs Letter: The Dream of Our People of a Democratic Civil Society Clashes with the Unchecked Authority of the Preventive Security Force”. 7. The Israeli security measures in Hebron turn the conditions of the city to the worst. 8. An article entitled “Is the Mounting Water Crisis Related to the Cairo Agreement? Technicians Call on Politicians to be Honest with the People”. 9. The residents of Bethlehem require an acquittance certificate from the cityʾs water department before they get any paperwork done at the civil administration. 10. Walid Mustafa, a member of the Palestinian Central Council, writes about holding the next session of the Palestinian National Council. 11. The Israeli Occupation Forces continue the enclosure procedures of the lands of Jiftlik. 12. A delegation representing the France - Palestine Solidarity Association visits Hebron.
