Printed in Arabic, this document shows a letter from Meir Vilner, General-Secretary and representative of the Central Committee of the Israeli Communist Party to Nablus Mayor Bassam Shak'a confirming the outcome of its twenty-first session, held on 12 July 1980 regarding his safe return to his homeland after the crime that befell him, and they stood by him in his struggle against the arbitrary Israeli Occupation measures against Palestinians. The original letter was printed in English and headed with the logo of the Israeli Communist Party in Arabic and Hebrew, 16 July 1980.
