A Booklet Issued by the 13th Assitej World Congress and Festival, 1999
Issued by the 13th World Congress and Festival of the International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People (Assitej) in 1999, this booklet highlighted the congress, held in Norway between 10 and 19 June of the same year, and reviewed the theatrical performances of the participating states, including those of Ashtar Theatre from Palestine, which staged "Women of Sand and Myrrh", a play adapted after Hanan al-Shaykh's "Misk al-Ghazal" novel. It covered the congress program, the welcoming speeches and the workshops.
