A Letter from Landowners in an-Nuway'imah to Mayor of Jericho, 1950s
Found in the Omar al-Jallad Collection, this handwritten document shows a paper with some poetry verses about Jerusalem by the visual artist Fatima al-Muhib written on it. On the other side of the paper, there is a letter from a group of landowners in An-Nuway'imah -an area across from Ein el-Sultan Refugee Camp on the east bank leading to al-Auja- to the Jericho Mayor and members of the Municipal Council, regarding the request to extend a water pipeline on the mentioned road.
