Handwritten, this archival item documents the continuation of the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Wednesday, 23 July 1941, mentioning doctors invoking many pretexts for charging high fees that are not proportional to what the doctor provides in terms of diagnosing and treating the disease, including that studying medicine is hard and takes too long, taking money from the rich to cure the poor, as well as mentioning the visit of Izz ad-Din Shawwa in the afternoon at the end of his diary.
