Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Saturday, 2 August 1941, discussing the language where he believes that words in languages do not exceed 300 words adding that perhaps humans will end up understanding each other without a language. On the same page, Sakakini wrote his diary on Sunday, 3 August 1941, mentioning what happened after the death of his wife Sultana, visiting his cousin Yacoub before the noon, the visit of Saleem Deeb, the principal of an-Nahda College with one of his students and the visit of Elias Haddad with the priest Haddad.
