Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 2 December 1939

Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Saturday 2 December 1939, where Assakakini inaugurated his diary by mentioning that he, his sister Millia, and daughters Dummia and Hala visited the cemetery and scattered some flowers, he also wrote about the time he visited the United States of America describing it as a difficult year due to being away from Sultana, then he remembered spending about a year in imprisonment in Damascus; while he talked about patience saying that there is no mean of patience over separation if it wasn't combined with relief, then he mentioned how much it was hard to lose Sultana, and concluded by the visit of George Khamis.
