Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 3 December 1939
Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Sunday 3 December 1939, where he mentioned Sari leaving for the consulate for something urgent, however, he went to buy some flowers and visited his mother's grave, then Assakakini wrote about the characteristics of his wife Sultana and her tenderness towards Sari, then he spoke about seeing her in his dreams. He also talked about the afternoon visit of his sister Frosow and her daughters Mary and Naifeh, and his cousin Labibeh, then he was visited by George Khamis and Issa An-naouri and gave him a poem titled "If Tears Help", later, he was visited again by Jalil Abdo and his wife, Kamel Eid and his wife, and during the evening he was visited by Mitry Farraj and his wife, in addition to the wife of Wadee Khouri and her brother.
