Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 5 December1939
Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Tuesday 5 December 1939, where he mentioned going with his sister Milia and cousin Hanna to the cemetery and spreading flowers, his intention to plant rosemary in the cemetery so that it would look like a neat garden, so he asked for red fertilized soil, sorting his letters by date in preparation to copy them in a special notebook and listing all who visited him including Despina Umm Dawood Abdo, Katinco Deeb and her sister Olga in the after noon, while in the evening, George Khmayyes, Fakhri Jawhareyyeh and Estello Awad visited him.
