The Continuation of the Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 8 December 1939

Handwritten, this archival item documents the continuation of the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Friday 8 December 1939, where he inaugurated it by mentioning that he and his sister Millia visited the cemetery and scattered some flowers, in this diary, he also wrote about how angry he is with people faking the love they show for one another; however, this kind of love isn't felt during the loss of a beloved family member compared to a one showed during the loss of someone's business. On this day Assakakini also visited Kamel Eid and narrated the diaries of Sultana being diagnosed with cancer, how lucky he was marrying Sultana, then he spoke about her virtues referring to people's perspective on her.
