Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 15 December 1939

Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Friday 15 December 1939, where he inaugurated his diary by mentioning that he and his sister Millia visited the cemetery and scattered some flowers, he also talked about the visit of Deir al-Latin print shop for some updates on his book, and was given three calendars for 1940 in addition to two agendas, later, he received a condolences letter from Subhi el-Khadra detained at the imprisonment of Acre, then he spoke about the visit of Farida; the daughter of his cousin Labibah, Emily, Um Dawoud Tallil, while in the evening he was visited by his cousin Yacoub, brother Mitri, Ulga, George Khamis and his wife, Ahmad Khalifeh and his wife.
