Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 23 December 1939
Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Saturday 23 December 1939, where he inaugurated his diary by mentioning that he, his sister Millia, and daughters; Dummia and Hala visited the cemetery and scattered some flowers, he also mentioned that Basil was travelling solo to Amman, then he listed who visited him on that day; Katinco Deeb, Dafi and his wife, his cousin Labibah along with Fadwa, and a sister of her, his cousin Hanneh and daughter Najla. Later, in this diary, he continued mourning his wife; Sultana.
