Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 2 January 1940
Handwritten, this archival item documents the continuation of the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Tuesday 2 January 1940, where he mentioned going with his sister Milia and Najla to the cemetery and spreading flowers, giving over the loss of Sultana and feeling that life is worth nothing without her, listing all those who visited him that day including Ahmad Tuqan, Ahmad Khalifeh, Khalil Totah, who Sakakini informed of his intention to print some of his diaries attached to photographs of Sultana in a book titled "ath-Thekra (The Memory)", Shukri Deeb, his wife Katinco and his son Rimon.
