Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Tuesday 16 January 1940, where he mentioned going with his sister Milia to the cemetery and spreading flowers, visiting Shukri Deeb so he could solve the issue of the house's mortgage, causing Sakakini to be late to school, and upon returning home, he reminisced over his memories with his wife and began crying.
