Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 25-26 January 1942
Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Sunday and Monday 25-26 January 1942, pointing out that he saw his wife in his sleep, and that they had many visitors, including his aunts, where his wife seemed sick, and that he told her that he always told her to see a doctor before matter worsened and that she always said that there was no need. He also writes of another dream in which he saw that his daughter "Hala" was dying, then he wrote about the pent-up grief in his chest for the loss of his wife. As for Monday, he wrote letters to Domia, Sary, Hala and his sister Melia, and mentioned the visit Shukri Deeb and his wife paid them in the evening.
