Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 6-7 February 1942
Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Friday and Satyrday 6-7 February 1942, pointing out his visit to the house of "Awni Bey Abdel-Hadi," who hosted a tea party for one of the members of the Sarsak Family; who visited Jerusalem through Syria to Egypt. On Saturday, he writes about his visit to the cemetery with his sister Mila and his daughter Hala where he talked about seeing his wife in his dreams, while he writes about the visit Ahmad Tukan, Ahmad Khalifa, Fakhri al-Gohari and George Khamis paid him in the evening where they read Toukan's poetry.
