Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 25 February - 1 March 1942
Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Wednesday-Saturday, 25-28 February 1942. On Wednesday, he mentioned the death of Dr Yaqoub Nuzha's wife and him going to her funeral. On Thursday, he mentioned the visit Jamil Ahmad and Rafiq al-Husseini paid him in the afternoon. On Friday, he talked about going to the cemetery to find it locked, and that he went the next day, scattered flowers and shed tears, and about Adel Jabr's visit to him in the afternoon and Ahmad Khalifa's visit in the evening. On Sunday, he mentioned that he visited the cemetery with his wife's sister.
