Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Wednesday 15 April 1942, where he continues about Sari inviting the American Consul for tea at 16:00, as guests started coming in their luxury cars, and they are: the First Consul and his wife, the Second Consul and his wife, Mousa al-Alami and his wife, Rajae al-Husseini and his wife Ahmad Touqan and his wife, Dr Haykal and his wife, Dr Totah and his wife, Yakoub Farraj, Ahmad Khalifeh, Adel Jaber and Deeb's wife, as the guests separated into groups, Sakakini offered the First Consul a hooka, and it was his first time trying it.
