Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini and has the completion of his diary dated Saturday, 28 September 1940, where he reminisces about his wife, Sultana's good condition on this day of the previous year. Then Sakakini wrote his diary dated Sunday, 29 September 1940, which he began by mentioning visiting the cemetery with his sister Milia and his daughters Dumia and Hala and spreading flowers, pointing out the grief in souls, then he wrote his diaries dated Monday, 30 September 1940, where he mentions visiting the cemetery, holding on to hope and denying his feelings for the passing of his wife, Sultana Abdo.
