Handwritten, this archival item documents the completion of the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Saturday, 5 October 1940, mentioning that this day marks the opening of Nahda College after the Summer vacation, while the day before marked the opening of the Girls English College, and that Dumia became in the secondary fifth grade which is the matriculation grade, while Hala became in the secondary fourth grade, then he mentioned the visit of Cantico Deeb with her sister Mary and her the wife of her brother Anastas.
