Handwritten, this archival item documents the completion of the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Tuesday 10 October 1940, where he completes discussing the subject of his lesson for this year on "The History of the English Language", and how he thinks that there is no point in teaching the subject and if necessary, the priority is to learn the history of the Arabic language, however learning the language itself is more important, after that he simplifies it into two methods for learning a language: First: to compare it with its sister languages. Second: to study it by itself. Its usefulness in knowing loanwords that help conclude the rules considered for adopting these words.
