Handwritten, this archival item documents the completion of the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Saturday 12 October 1940, where he carried on with his grief for Sultana. On the same page, Sakakini wrote the beginning of his diary on 13 October 1940, by pointing out visiting the cemetery and spreading flowers with his sister Milia and his daughters Dumia and Hala, mentioning the visit of Adel Jaber and Elias Haddad on that rainy afternoon.
