Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 16 April 1941
Handwritten, this archival item documents the completion of the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Wednesday, 16 April 1941, mentioning the visit of Adel Jaber to him that afternoon, and after that accompanied him to visit his cousin Mitri Farraj. On the same page, Sakakini wrote his diary on Thursday, 17 April 1941, pointing out visiting the cemetery and scattering flowers with his sister Milia, going to Ramallah with his daughters and Elham, Tawfeeq al-Hallaq daughter, his daughter meeting with some German friends from Ramallah Friends School, writing on the obsessions that worried him, wishing that they kept his wife for 4 or 5 more days and not to bury her until medical examination results.
