Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Friday, 18 April 1941, which he began by pointing out visiting the cemetery and scattering flowers with his sister Milia, mentioning the increase of his obsessions to the point where he felt suffocated, and the visit of Elyas Haddad to him in the evening and staying until 10 pm.  On the same page, Sakakini wrote his diary on Thursday, 19 April 1941, pointing out visiting the cemetery and scattering flowers with his sister Milia, mentioning that it was the Holy Saturday, where people visit their dead, mentioning the visit of Wasif Jawharieh with his daughter Yusra, his brothers Fakhry and Tawfeeq, Adel Jaber, and Elyas Hadad to him that afternoon.
