Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 19 November 1941
Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Wednesday, 19 November 1941, mentioning visiting Isaaf an-Nashashibi with Ahmad Khalifa to offer condolences on the death of his cousin Fakhry but not finding him, visiting Ragheb Bey an-Nashashibi, and visiting al-Sheikh Tawfeeq at-Teebi on their way back. In the middle of the page, Sakakini wrote his diary on Thursday, 20 November 1941, mentioning receiving a letter written in Arabic from Dumia, receiving 250 pounds from Matossian as Sakakini needed papers for printing a new book, Sari buying papers of 240 pounds, the visit of Adel Jaber and visiting the Iraqi consul.
