Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini from 15 to 19 December 1941, which he began by Tuesday, 16 December 1941, mentioning listening to the U.S based radio channel, Boston, broadcasting in Arabic for the first time, and speaking with the tongue of an immigrant about Syrian and Lebanese stances regarding the Second World War, and mentioning his astonishment to being able to listen to Boston while he was in Jerusalem. Followed by Thursday, 18 December 1941, mentioning the police arresting two fourth-secondary students, Yasser Amro from Hebron, and Abdel-Latif al-Alami from Gaza, for stealing school property books worth 10 pounds.
