Fouad I Arabic Language Community Meeting Minutes on 28 January 1952
Dated 28 January 1952, these meeting minutes are of the Fouad I Arabic Language Community, where Ahmad Lutfi, Sayyed Pasha, the head of the community, Abdel-Hamid Badawi Pasha, Mansour Fahmi Pasha, Ahmad Amin, Mohammad Rida ash-Shabibi, Ibrahim Bayoumi, Abdel-Qader al-Maghribi, Hasan Husni Abdel-Wahab, Ahmad Hasan Zayyat and Khalil Sakakini attended. Ahmad Amin Bey gave a eulogy for the late Fares Nemr Pasha, the lecture of Khalil Sakakini regarding the numbering issue in the Arabic language was discussed and referred to the Origins Committee, the lecture of Reda ash-Shabibi regarding Classical and Colloquial was discussed and referred to the Origins Committee and the lecture of Mahmoud Taymour Bey in the Language of the Community was referred to the Committee of the Modern Age pronunciation. Notes were given regarding the vocabulary of sports and nature and another date was set for the Conference Committee.
