"Small Beginnings", a Book of Stories and Texts for the Girls of the Villages of Kaubar, Birzeit and Dura el-Kari'a, 2006
Issued by the Khalil Sakakini Cultural Centre and funded by Save the Children Sweden, the first edition of the book "Small Beginnings", which is a collection of stories and texts from the girls of the villages of Kaubar, Birzeit and Dura el-Kari'a. It also comes as a conclusion to the first phase of the cultural communication program for the year 2005/2006, containing the 6 months’ product of texts produced by girls who participated in creative writing workshops, and texts of theatrical scenes produced by girls who participated in workshops of drama and puppetry.
