Taken in 1988, this colour photograph features Rajih al Salfeety as he recites poetry in Akka during a pro-Intifada conference. Al Salfeety was known for his prominent role in supporting the Intifada, via conferences, festivals, and activities, both in the West Bank and the 1948 Occupied Palestinian Territory. Al Salfeety's wife is seen in the photograph clapping along with the audience.
