Taken in 1988, this colour photograph features Rajih al Salfeety as he recites poetry in Akka during a pro-Intifada conference. Al Salfeety was known for his prominent role in supporting the Intifada, via conferences, festivals, and activities, both in the West Bank and the 1948 Occupied Palestinian Territory.
