Taken by Yousef Albina between the 1920s and the 1930s, this photograph shows Abu Tor "ath-Thawri" neighbourhood based on a hill next to Jabel Mukaber. The name of the ath-Thawri neighbourhood comes from the Muslim fighter Abu Tor, whose shrine is built in the neighbourhood.
