Printed in the Literary Press in Beirut in 1302 AH, corresponding to 1884 AD, this book titled "Kashf al-Burda 'An Ma'any al-Bar'a" is by Mohammad Izeiter Nabulso. This book contains the poem “Al-Burda Wal-Bar’a” by Imam Sharaf Addin Mohammad al-Buseri, born in the village of Dallas in Upper Egypt, and he is one of the most famous poets, who wrote praise in Prophet Mohammad. This poem has many names including “Al-Burda”, “Al-Bar’a” or “al-Kawakeb ad-Doreyya Fi Madh Khayr al-Bareya”, as al-Buseiri wrote it in the Hijri seventh century, corresponding to the 11th century AD. It is mentioned that al-Buseri wrote this poem after being ill, so he thought of writing a poem praising the Prophet in hopes it would heal him, he wrote the poem and after finishing it, he saw the Prophet in his sleep and read it to him, then the Prophet touched his hand to al-Buseri’s face and covered him with his cloak, after which, al-Buseri woke up healed. Nabulsi writes that the reason he wrote this book is the importance of the poem, it is widespread through many countries and many people read it without controlling its pronunciations or vowels, or understanding its meaning. Nabulsi also points out that despite many interpreters explaining the poem, he still believes it needs simplifying and explaining so that all people can understand it.
