Diaries of Khalil Sakakini, 4 September 1940

Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Wednesday 4 September 1940, where he mentioned going with his sister Milia and daughters Dumia and Hala to the cemetery and spreading flowers, recalling his diary dated the same date in the previous year, Faraj Allah visiting him from Beirut carrying a list of the amounts of issues the American press needs of his book "al-Jadeed (The New)", and in the afternoon, Salameh Irzeiqat visited him, turned out to know Prince Abdullah and his entourage very well, and says that Prince Abdullah is bigotted and is a big fan of sycophancy.
