Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Sunday 27 May 1940, where he mentioned going with his sister Milia to the cemetery and spreading flowers, bequeathing that he is buried in soil, not in graves of stone and cement, and sitting in the afternoon on the house balcony with some visitors drinking, smoking and speaking.
