Handwritten, this archival item documents the diaries of Khalil Sakakini on Friday 5 July 1940, where he mentioned going with his sister Milia to the cemetery and spreading flowers, going with Yakoub Farraj to the office of Yousef Abdo and criticizing the works of Adel Jaber in the Municipal Council, finishing the second and third grades test papers, mentioning that he is still busy reading philosophy books, which help him with his message "Let Us Go Extinct", then he mentions 4 reasons why humans want another life, many are repulsed by the idea of becoming nothing, they wish for another life so they could meet their loved ones, to bring justice and life is too short, so one cannot achieve perfection.
