Provident Fund Ordinance of 1943, by Palestine Railways
Issued by the Palestine Railways, this document shows a Provident Fund Ordinance of 1943, stating that to become a contributor, a compulsory deposit of 5% of the basic salary is required, and one-twentieth of the monthly salary should be deposited until the end of their service with the government, and section 9 of the Provident Fund Ordinance states that the government provides an equal amount of money to the depositor, that was deducted from him and on the same dates on which they were deducted that is called “tips”.
