Palestine Railways Instructions for Reporting on Accidents

Issued by the Office of the Superintendent of the Line of the Palestine Railways, this document shows instructions on how to report and investigate accidents, as every railway employee found at or near the scene of the accident, whether or not he is on duty, must assist in managing the signals designated to protect the site of the accident or the train, ensures the safety o the passengers and provide first aid to those affected, make urgent arrangements for medical treatment, and secure the mail and other shipments. In the event of a fire, he takes urgent measures to isolate the fire, and ensure that the accident is immediately reported to the nearest station superintendent or the competent chief, and to carefully write down all the circumstances that may help to reach the cause of the accident, it also includes instructions in the event of a train accident, the train staff must inform the train official, and the train official must take all possible measures.
