Hisham and Helmi Halwani, Jerusalem, 1985
Taken at as-Sowana Neighbourhood in Jerusalem on 19 August 1985 on the 9th birthday of Helmi, this photograph shows Hisham Halwani and his son Helmi two months after his release from prison following the "Jebreel" prisoner exchange agreement between the government of the Israeli Occupation and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, as it was the first time Hisham celebrated his son's birthday.
