Dated 4 July 1983, a letter from Sami al-Ahmad to Anwar Nusseibeh, where he congratulates him on his conversation with the Israeli television about the dispute between Assad and Yasser Arafat, and between Arafat and the rebels from the Fatah movement, and describes it as a great talk issued by a high-ranking man as Nusseibeh known for wisdom, patriotism and honour, as it was a talk free of courtesy and hypocrisy.
