A Letter to Anwar Nusseibeh About the Palestine Department at the Arab League
Sent by an unknown person, this letter is addressed to Anwar Nusseibeh, where the sender opened it with a wish that God would bring him together with the family and the children, who were in perfect health, he says that he always thinks of them and his father, explains that his preoccupation and the deterioration of his health condition did not enable him to write to them and he asks for forgiveness for that, tells him that the matter of the Arab offices has been resolved in Egypt, where offices will be established for the nationals under the supervision of the Council of the Arab League, including offices for Palestine, mentioned that what helped in this was the insistence of Mousa Alami to take charge of the offices and take care of them himself or under the supervision of a local committee in Jerusalem other than the Supreme Committee, but despite that, the sender says that he is not comfortable about the situation in which the offices became, as he spoke with Ghulam Bey to allow Nusseibeh and his colleagues to work at Arab League counsel in Cairo, where Ghannam, in turn, praised Nusseibeh and his colleagues, then mentioned details of the financial amount he offered them, and finally mentions that “Nuzha” agreed to move to where Anwar is.
