A letter From Anwar Nusseibeh to Van Lennep, Jerusalem, 23 December 1959
Printed in English, this archival item documents a letter from Anwar Nusseibeh in Jerusalem to someone called "Van Lennep" in Beirut sent on 23 December 1959, in this letter, Nusseibeh expresses his gratitude towards his previously sent letter and what was enclosed therein on 18 December 1959 and that he is to contact "Mr Hanken" the soonest for the problem of irrigation and then he continues about his main topic which is on the description of a book titled "Ugly American" saying that it was boring and could have been summarised in a sentence because it shows the "better" version of the United States of America "USA" by conducting certain foreign aid methods throughout manipulating communists, moreover, he wonders why it is listed among the "best seller" category and that he doesn't want to be referred to as "anti-Semitic", but he says that it's most likely that one of the authors is Jewish.
