A Letter from the Bureau of the Afro-Asian Cooperation Council to Anwar Nusseibeh, 27 May 1960
Found in the Sari Nusseibeh Collection and printed in English, this document shows a letter from the Executive Secretary, U.N Phadnis, of the Bureau of the Afro-Asian Cooperation Council to Anwar Nusseibeh, where he informed him that he has received his letter dated 19 May 1960, confirming that Ms Trikamadasleft this morning for Bombay, and he is responsible for this permit, as well as his contact with Jeena and Co regarding his travel visa to the capital, New Delhi, and his return to Jordan. He also informed him that the President of the Afro-Asian Council, Jayaprakash Narayan, will be there earlier than the others, so he will be glad to hear about some of the individuals whom Nusseibeh has been able to attract as contacts, therefore, he is asked for names and places of residence.
