A Statement by the Military Prisoner Khalil Hasan al-Baz Confessing to a Case, 20 June 1964

تتضمن هذه الوثيقة المكتوبة باللغة العربية تصريح للسجين العسكري "خليل حسن الباز" من قلقيلية بتاريخ 20 حزيران 1964 والموقوف في سجن الزرقاء، وجد شمن أرشيف سري نسيبة تعود ملكيته لوالده أنور، يصرح فيه بالحقيقة الكاملة وهو بكامل قواه العقلية حيث أنه يعاني من مرض نتيجة التعذيب يخشى أن يفارق الحياة بسببه وهو يشعر بالتجني على أشخاص أبرياء، ويذكر أن القبض عليه تم بتاريخ 6 أيلول 1963 وأودع في السجن العسكري بالزرقاء بتهمة هو بريء منها، حيث تعرض هناك للتعذيب لمدة 72 يوم على يد لجنة التحقيق المكونة من "عبد الكريم عمر" و"مفلح القضاة"، اللذان كتبوا ما أملوه على الباز زورا وكذبا ووقع عليها نتيجة الضرب والتعذيب من قبل المذكوران، ويصرح بأنه ليس له أي علاقة بهؤلاء الأشخاص الأبرياء المظلومين الذين وردت أسمائهم في أقواله التي أملاها على لجنة التحقيق، ويظهر في نهاية التصريح توقيع الشهود وبصمة إبهام                ;Handwritten in Arabic and found in the Collection of Sari Nusseibeh, this archival item documents a statement delivered by a Military Prisoner, "Khalil Hasan al-Bazz" from Qalqilya on 20 June 1964 who is being held captive in al-Zarqa Military Prison; in this statement, he confirms the full truth with all his mental powers that he was exposed to the torture he now fears he is to die because of which and fears of being accused while being innocent, mentioning that he was arrested on 6 September 1963 and kept at al-Zarqa Military Prison due to an accusation although being innocent; whereas he was being beaten for around 72 days by the investigation committee including "Abed el-Karim Omar" and "Miflih al-Quddah" who both wrote wrong confessions of al-Baz who forcibly signed it due to being beaten and tortured by these two in addition to the signature of the witnesses and the fingerprint of al-Baz.
