Contract of Tenancy between Rashid Ibraik and Abdulfattah Ibraik, Nablus, 1974

Printed in 1974, this document shows a contract of tenancy between Rashid Ibraik and brothers and Abdulfattah Salim Ibraik and brothers from Nablus. The contract details the conditions of tenancy including the payment of four Jordanian dinars to be paid in cash for a full year starting from 1 Muharram 1394 and ending on 30 Dhul-Hijjah; corresponding to 25 January 1974 and ending on 14 January 1975. Other conditions include that at the end of the lease term, the tenant is obliged to hand over the key to the landlord, and if he is late, he shall pay for each day a double rent until the premise is vacated and handed over back to the landlord- the tenant is not entitled to change the premise without the written permission of the landlord and is not allowed to lease the leased premise to another without obtaining the permission and consent of the landlord in writing.
