A Letter from the Director of al-Awqaf and Islamic Matters Council to the Minister of Defence, 29 March 1982
Dated 29 March 1982, this letter is from the Director of al-Awqaf and Islamic Matters Council, Saad al-Alami, to the Minister of Defence in Jerusalem, where he informed him that the administration of the Awqaf in Jerusalem received dangerous threats regarding al-Aqsa Mosque and the life of the General Director personally, and in accordance with the seriousness of the matter, he had sent a telegram and letter to the Minister of Interior and the police attached to the letters they received, hoping that the necessary security measures are taken.
