"Daftar Kalimat Araby Ghamida", a Notebook for Nayef Salim, 1947-48
Handwritten in Arabic by Nayef Salim in 1947-48, this document shows a notebook titled "Daftar Kalimat Araby Ghamida (Notebook of Mysterious Arabic Words)" which Salim used in the sixth grade back when he was studying at al-Rama School in al-Buqe'a. The first chapter, titled "Kalimat Araby (Arabic Words)" features the meaning of certain Arabic words, while the second chapter, titled "Verses from Gibran's Works)" features quotes from the works of Gibran Khalil Gibran including "al-Arwah al-Mutamarida (Spirits Rebellious)", "Raml wa Zabad (Sand and Foam)", and "Munajat Arwah (Soliloquy)".
