"Ughneya Li Yawm al-Ard", a Poem by Rajih al Salfeety

Written on Land Day, 21st of March, and entitled "Ughneya Li Yawm al-Ard (literally means a song for Land Day)", this one-page poem deals with the importance of land for Palestinians. In the poem, the poet salutes al-Muthallath Area, which includes Deir Hanna, 'Arrabat al-Battuf, and Sakhnin in reference to the six shaheeds who were killed during a protest to prevent the confiscation of thousands of Donums by the Israeli Occupation in al-Muthallath Area, 1948 Occupied Palestinian Territory.
