Handwritten on 10 September 1936, this letter was addressed from Fares Awartani in Jenin Boys School to the Education Inspector of Samaria in Nablus via the school principal, requesting to be transferred to Anabta- Tulkarm in order to protect his father after receiving a phone call informing him that an army force had threatened the houses of those who aided the rebels in the village.
